SKIPtheatre: 35 ALBURY STREET

A bizarre and surreal site responsive experience, inspired by the works of Samuel Beckett.

An estate agent greets the 20 person audience, who are treated as potential buyers, outside an empty Georgian house for sale in Deptford, South London.

The estate agent wisks the audience around the house, describing its potential as an investment, seemingly unaware of the figures in the shadows.

As the audience move through the rooms they witness memories and misplaced ghosts of characters that form a beautiful, abstract and visually stunning history of what has gone before.

A young girl in a green dress mixes cake mixture in a cold bath, a cellist crawls out of a chimney and plays, a room full of flour is skipped into a hazy mist.
