SKIPtheatre presented a one off performance in the Devonshire village of East Prawle in August 2009. Set against a backdrop of breathtaking coastline, Pirates of Prawle - A Night of Pandemonium immersed the audience in an evening of wonder and excitement as they explored one night of terror long ago...

The audience had the chance to put on a costume, become a character and journey with their maps around the village to discover the story of a treacherous shipwreck caused by a mermaids curse, one pirate's sudden madness and the revenge of the villagers.

The audience were immersed in the life of the 1890's with music, singing and dancing in the village pub and a brawl on the village green. Once the tale had been told the performance continued with a live set from the Jive Jacks and the party continued long into the summer night.
